This, combined with their four-part vocal harmonies, have led to a hugely successful first single, “Tell Me, ” and their first debut album, Dru Hill. ” Unlike many of their contemporaries, the group relay a positive message, focusing their lyrics on life and love, rather than the harsh street grit of most hip-hop and rap. His addition to the group adds another dimension of sound to the already-immaculate harmony that Dru Hill is renowned for.Natives of Baltimore, Maryland, the four members of Dru Hill have combined their smooth, R&B vocal stylings with the intention of putting “Baltimore on the map. Nokio, founder and in-house producer for the group, has given Dru Hill its mass appeal and staying power for over two decades. Known for his trend-setting style, choreography and universal reach, his musical brilliance shines brighter for fans with each passing year. Singing since the age of two, he has harnessed an incredible talent for taking amazing songs to new heights with his powerhouse vocals.
